Valve stems are valves with caps which riders can open or close to inflate or deflate air of inside tubes. Valve stems fit with rims through valve holes. 

Hooked-bead rims use beads to hold tires onto rims. Beads are made from strong steel cables or Kevlar belts that run along the edge of tires.

Tubular tires

Tubular tires have a better standard, which cyclists love to have on their racing bikes. Because they are lightweight, there is less puncture or no puncture at all. This advanced feature makes riders feel more confident when they are on the race.

 Tubeless clincher tires are also lightweight, durable. It create a mass comfort for the riders but the price is also high and need a lot of time to set up fit to the rims

Treaded or treadles. Which one is right tires for your road bikes?

Unlike tires of Mountain bikes, which tires have knobs to increase friction force. Treadles are tires of road bikes which have cases totally smooth and without any tread. These types of tires are for totally smooth roads . The design of tires makes the friction force of bikes to the road is at minimum. And the bikes can run at the highest level of speed.

The only down point of these tires are they are expensive

Treaded tires are tire with lines or cube shapes on the surface of tires. The distance between lines and cubes can be narrow or deep depending on the designs. But the main purpose is to create the contact with the road. Friction force will slow the bikes, make them stay more firm on the road. Tubular tires and tubeless tires are much more durable because of special material. The only down point is they are more expensive than clincher tires . And in order to have perfect wheel tires . It takes time to set up them to the rims and it requires also a lot of care and works.
